Welcome to our family apartment situated in an old residential quarter in the centre of Lisbon, close to the Rato square and underground station, and three minutes’ walk from the main Avenida da Liberdade.
Rua do Salitre still has a number of private houses remaining from the 18th and 19th centuries and the apartment is on the ground floor of one of these, overlooking a spacious private garden to which guests also enjoy access. The building was fully renovated in 2001.
Also used as an art studio, the flat (140m2) is well furnished and centrally heated, with five rooms: an entrance hall, two large rooms and two double bedrooms (one en suite) and an ample and well-lit covered balcony. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Colour TV with several foreign stations (English and French).

Things To Do
Being a capital city, Lisbon has all kinds of amenities and things to do. The flat is ideally situated for visiting all the city’s monuments, historic quarters (Alfama, Castelo, Bairro Alto) and museums. Most places are within walking distance or easily reached by public transport. Trains run frequently to the beaches (approx. 15mins) and delightful seaside towns of Estoril and Cascais from the nearby train station of Cais do Sodré.
