Rouge on Rose Bed and Breakfast Bo-Kaap is the latest addition in upmarket Cape Town Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering accommodation offering 9 suites in the Mother City. Situated in the heart of the historic Cape Malay Quarter better known as the Bo-Kaap at the foot of Signal Hill. This family run business with lots of special touches is an excellent alternative to the large city hotels. we cater for the weary business person and the tourist exploring our beautiful city.Our situation is so central 2 minutes from the city centre and trendy Long Street...5 minutes from the V&A Waterfront....10 minutes from Table Mountain...15 minutes to the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean and 30 minutes to the beaches on the warm Indian Ocean...15 minutes from the airport.

There are two kinds of suites all air conditioned of course... The deluxe suites with a luxurious bathroom with a large bath and shower both with unsurpassable views of the colourful houses and Signal Hill and the self catering suites complete with open plan kitchen area, dining and lounge area and a beautiful bed room all with extra length king size beds with drisp white cotton linen and those bathrooms have a large shower and I might add also with super views of our very own Cape Malay Quarter. All the normal things like flat screen TV, DVD player, Satellite TV, wireless internet, heated towel rails, secure parking, complimentary tea/coffee, robes and slippers are thrown in to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We have our on site bistro where the breakfasts are served and the most stunning simple meals are rustled up for lunch with whatever is fresh at the market. To top it all should you wish to stay indoors in the evening you can order dinner from the weekly menu and it will be placed in your suite ready for you to warm up and enjoy watching a movie or just enjoying a glass of wine taking in the magnificent view.
An added bonus is that we have so many of the finest restaurants within walking distance of Rouge on Rose....Savoy Cabbage, Ginja, Marco's African Place, The Africa Cafe, Mamma Roma, Caveau to name but a few.

We are very close to the CTICC and if you are going to attend a congress/convention/exhibition why not book our entire establishment and get that special taylormade package.

Things To Do
This area with its cobbled streets and colourful houses is steeped in history as it dates back to the 17th and 18th century when the slaves were imported from Indonesia and Malaysia and housed here...check out the Slave Museum 71 Wale Street for more info. The Gold Museum is a block away and well worth a visit and once finished there take the Red Bus which stops outside there and do a whirlwind sightseeing tour of the City ..it is a 'hop on hop off' bus so really a must for a first time traveller
