Langdon House is situated in Christchurch the South Island's largest city. Christchurch is a vibrant, lively city, with an emphasis on culture and art. The Garden City, as it is also known, enjoys a dry, sunny climate, with year round appeal. The Christchurch Botanic Gardens is a beautifully maintained, 30 hectare garden area with undoubtedly the finest collection of exotic and indigenous plants in New Zealand, bounded by the 161 hectare of Hagley Park one of the worlds largest inner city parks. Visit the International Antarctic Centre the only attraction of its kind in the world. And whilst Christchurch can boast the fine Gothic architecture of its cathedral and tree lined avenues that allow it to call itself the garden city it is full of nightlife as well.
