Toro yaka Bush Lodge, which means "My Dream" in North Sotho, is set in the beautifully Scenic Balule Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger.

Experience "Timeless tranquillity" with a unique "home away from home" atmosphere.

The Lodge is owned and managed by Steve and Nicole Baillie. Together with their staff, they offer good food, friendly service, a unique bush experience and overall great South African hospitality.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with inside and outside showers, air-conditioning, mosquito nets, private decks and tea/coffee stations.

The main recreational area consists of cosy inside and outside lounges with DSTV, a dining area, boma, and a bar set in a tranquil garden environment. A 9m swimming pool overlooks a waterhole where animals frequently quench their thirst.

All Bush activities are conducted by Steve, who is a professional SKS Field guide. His years of experience and specialised knowledge in all aspects of nature make bush activities unforgettable.

Things To Do
The only way to really experience the pulse of the bush is through your feet. Morning bush walks gives you the opportunity to get close to nature and afternoon, sundowner drives extending into the night afford potential sightings of nocturnal animals. Bird watching is rewarding, with over 350 species recorded in and around the area. Spend time at the lodge watching animals come to drink, swimming in the pool, catching up on your reading or de-stress with a relaxing massage. Day trips to Kapama Cheetah Breeding Project, Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, Khamai Reptile Park and Nyani Cultural Village can be arranged. The Drakensberg Panoramic route, and the Kruger National Park are other options. Play Golf at the Hans Merensky Golf Course. For the more adventurous, there is white water rafting, abseiling, hiking, hot air balloon rides, or horse back safaris in the nearby vicinity.
