The Grange
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our guest house where host Annelie will be pleased to greet you. A peaceful nights sleep and a delicious breakfast, is a good way to start your day. The Grange Guest House offers a serene, home-away-from-home experience and is ideal whether you are a business person looking for peace and tranquility after a hard day’s work, a tourist to our beautiful country or a couple looking for a romantic weekend getaway. Our beautiful large patio is a great setting for your morning breakfast or a quiet sundowner before heading off to one of the many classy restaurants Durban has to offer.

We offer high quality modern accommodation with the focus on comfort and relaxation and is extremely well located in close proximity to restaurants and amenities but, with the big trees and lush gardens, you’ll feel that you’ve been able to escape the busy day even though the business districts are only just over 10 minutes drive away. For those enjoying sport, Beachwood Country Club with its magnificent golf course is a short drive down to the coastal link or the Durban Country Club course is just across the Umgeni river. The Grange is midway between two Virgin Active gymnasiums which are close by.

The Grange Guest House has four individually decorated queen or twin/king bedrooms all en-suite with shower or bath and shower. We also have a two bedroom family suite with stunning views.

The entire house has been renovated to include high quality finishes with Italian tiles and sanware, suspended basins and toilets – all very modern and sleek.

Each bedroom is fully air-conditioned, equipped with a ceiling fan, 32inch flat screen wall mounted satellite TV (DSTV), safe and clock radio. A cordless phone is available at reception to take to your room if needed.

Morning tea or coffee is served to you in your bedroom when requested (plunger coffee or espresso/latte/long black – we have it all! A wide variety of teas is also available.

There is a coffee bar in the dining room available 24 hours with plunger coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Should you prefer, we can make up a tea tray for use in your room.
