George Lodge International offers the perfect base to explore the Garden Route. With its private oak-lined garden, swimming pool, poolside patio and deck with stunning views of the Outeniqua Mountains, it provides a comfortable and affordable home-away-from-home for business people, and couples and families on vacation.

The Lodge is less than 10 minutes’ drive to George Airport and close to the shops, restaurants and coffee bars of the vibrant, cosmopolitan town. For those keen on golfing, we are just 1km away from the George Golf Club.

Guests can choose between B&B and self-catering accommodation in stylish, individually decorated rooms. Breakfast for B&B guests consists of a delicious Continental buffet followed by a cooked breakfast option. For dinner, we can recommend excellent restaurants close by

All 22 en-suite rooms at George Lodge International have been individually decorated in different styles and colour themes, with cottage furniture in natural wood and soft furnishings in elegant fabrics. Rooms are carpeted for comfort and have many personal touches. Some of the rooms have balconies or open onto small patios. All are airy, light and spacious.

Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, with wireless internet connectivity in all areas of the lodge, extra blankets, hairdryer, a heater and fan, as well as a 74cm television with 11 TV channels to choose from.

Choose from one of our 22 en-suite rooms with either a bath or shower, or a self-catering suite with a kitchenette.
We also offer a Shuttle Service from the George Airport to George and the surrounding towns in a certified, aircondioned Minibus. We focus on individual comfort in our safe, clean and stylish air-conditioned Minibus. We also offer same day trip packages to the surrounding towns, Oudtshoorn, Mosselbay, Knysna, Plettenbergbay, Prince Albert, De Rust and any other town of your preference. Half and full day packages can be tailored to your specifications for costs contact our Lodge and let us discuss your requirements so that both parties are mutually happy and then sit back and enjoy the ride.

Things To Do
George is the largest of the many quaint towns on South Africa’s Garden Route coast, one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in the world. With its numerous lakes and mountain ranges, beaches and bays, the landscape also features indigenous forests, amber-coloured rivers and fields of fynbos (the indigenous vegetation). This natural wonderland boasts many bird and wildlife species and offers visitors a host of leisure options and adventure activities. We are within easy driving distance of Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, as well as the villages and towns along Cape Route 62, including Bonnievale, Robertson, Calitzdorp and Oudtshoorn.
