Dalkell Cottage Guest House
Dalkell is a 3*STB graded guesthouse on the West Highland Way walk and 100yds from the Tyndrum Village Centre on the A82. The village of Tyndrum which is served by two railway stations and a bus service to Glasgow,Oban and Fort William is surrounded by magnificient mountain scenery. The guesthouse has 7 bedrooms and a cottage for 5 adjoining the guesthouse. There is a drying room for wet boots and jackets etc. Most of the rooms are en-suite or have private facilities. The sittingroom for guests has a TV, video and games etc. The garden has tables and chairs.There is ample parking and cars can be left overnight for walkers.
There is a choice of two places in the village (including an award winning fish and chip cafe) for an evening meal and a couple of food shops , an outdoor gear shop, day coffee shop,gift shops, pub and post office.
Winter Rates from 1st November 2007 - 31st March 2008
Stay for three nights and pay for two.
All rates include breakfast served in the diningroom of the guesthouse.

Things To Do
Tyndrum is one hour's drive to Oban and one hour ten minutes drive to Fort William. Tyndrum is on the West Highland Way walk (established in 1980 )a 92 mile walk from Milngawie near Glasgow to Fort William in the north. There are many country walks around Tyndrum and community woodland and forest walks. The village of Glencoe on the A82 (where the famous battle took place between the Campbells and MacDonalds) is 20 minutes drive from Tyndrum and Rannoch Moor is a spectacular sight en-route to Glencoe. The whole area is a photographer's paradise.
