From Aupontmevault it is just a short walk to the Rance estuary which can be explored on foot or by bicycle or boat.

The old Port of Dinan is just 10 minutes away by car, a good place to begin a visit to the medeival town.
St. Malo and Dinard with their spectacular beaches are both nearby at the mouth of the Rance estuary.
There are miles of wonderful beaches along the coast and to the east Mont St Michel.
There is plenty to explore I'll lend you a map.
