Bikini Beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, and is a popular destination for water sports, beach volleyball and sunbathing. The white sandy main beach is popular with families. Gordon’s Bay is ideally situated for one to explore both the Cape Winelands and the Overberg. The Stellenbosch region produces some of the best wines in the world, and is only 15 minutes’ drive away. Or take a drive to the Overberg where coastal towns such as Hermanus, famous for the whales that visit the town every year, can be visited.
