La Grande Maison
 
We offer bed and breakfast in a detached country house set in quiet comfortable surroundings in rural Central Brittany.
We have 4 double bedrooms (2 en-suite), one of which can be used as twin or family room. There is a guest lounge, with DVD, books, magazines, games. Tea and coffee facilities are available and also a garden for guests to use.
We are able to provide evening meals, using our own produce when possible.
Open all year. Pets are welcome, by prior arrangemant.
Open all year, private parking.

Things To Do
There is a large variety of things to do and places to visit in Central Brittany. We have a range of information leaflets available for guests. A small examples of places to visit and things to do locally are: Walking: the Nantes- Brest canal is a few minutes away and has footpaths along it's banks. It is very picturesque and quiet. You can also cycle along here. There is also an old railway track, now a foot/cycle path that goes past La Grande Maison, going from Carhaix to Rostrenen. The landes of Locarn provide good walking and a chance to see local flora and fauna. Swimming, golf, bowling, go-karting are all available in Carhaix. Also a cinema. There are markets most days of the week in the local towns. The coast is about 1 hours drive away (north, south and west), with good beaches and coastal walks.
