Kruger Gateway Chalets

Kruger Gateway Cabins is set on a picturesque 350-hectare wildlife farm called Ilkley Adventures and provides an unique experience for our guests. The cabins are secluded and private and are set in the heart of the African Bushveld, which is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.

The Kruger National Park Orpen Gate is only 28 km from us and our cabins are central and serves as a base for all the great activities on offer in the area. Some of these are the Blyde River Panorama Route, Moholoholo Rehab Centre, Garden of Eden, Khamai Reptile Park. We are also adjacent to Thornybush and Royal Malewane.

Meals are taken care of and our rates are based on dinner, bed and breakfast with lunches on request. Our cabins can also be hired on a self-catering basis.

Our cabins boast three rooms with twin beds and a sharing bathroom. Linen and towels are provided as well as tea and coffee in the rooms. The cabins have no television or radio services. We tune into one channel at night time with our bush TV (bon fire - lounge), whilst a lion is roaring in the distance, enjoying a drink or two around a lovely three-course dinner with soft music playing in the background. A beautiful swimming pool is available to cool down in under the African summer sun.

Ilkley Adventures can also assist in booking early morning and late afternoon sundowner game drives in the world renowned Thorny Bush Big 5 Game Reserve. Early morning, sunset, half-day and full day drives into the Kruger National Park on an open game viewer can also be arranged.
