The Stellenbosch Hotel is a 27 room boutique style hotel that also offers 6 self-catering apartments.

Guest rooms have extra length King, Queen, Double or Twin beds with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, bar fridge, television, clock radio, hair dryer, room safe
and telephones.

A full English or Continental breakfast is included in the value for money room-rates.

Complimentary bottle of mineral water, tea and coffee provided.

Our reception is always open and guest parking is available upon request.

Our famous Jan Cats Restaurant serves find local and foreign dishes, and our sidewalk tables are ideal for a pub lunch or a visit with friends.

We serve live Crayfish, fresh Oysters, a "Catch of the day" and a selection of exotic Game dishes. We also have an a la Carte menu with a variety of items to choose from. Our wine list supports the local vineyards.

The Stellenbosch Hotel are now able to offer two air-conditioned conference / function venues, the largest of which seats up to 90 guests. These venues are situated in the famous Jan Cats building, corner of Church and Andringa Streets.

Museums, Art Galleries and Curio shops are all within safe walking distance.

The Stellenbosch Hotel was built on land granted by Gov. Simon Van der Stel between 1692 and 1701. The building was restored in 1987 and has been declared a national monument.

Things To Do
Nature lovers, hikers and bikers will find plenty of trails in the Jonkershoek nature reserve, just five kilometers from the town centre. There are several vineyards well worth a visit within 10 kilometers, along the famous wine routes of the Western Cape. Shoppers will find many interesting shops within walking distance from the hotel. Architectural lovers will find that the Stellenbosch Hotel is itself a historic building and is also surrounded by many buildings of roughly the same period.
